Hayley Kiyoko (born April 3, 1991) portrays Stella Yamada on Lemonade Mouth.
Early Life
In high school, Kiyoko served as Student Council President and Vice President. She also founded the step team for her high school. Upon graduation, she was accepted into Clive Davis School of Recorded Music at New York University.
Career
Kiyoko has appeared on Wizards of Waverly Place as Stevie Nichols and on the children's series Unfabulous. She has also appeared as Stella Yamada in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Lemonade Mouth, as Velma Dinkley in Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins and Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster, and in national commercials, including GM Onstar, Slim Jim, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. In 2012, Hayley will appear in the Lifetime TV movie entitled Blue Lagoon: The Awakening as Helen. It will premiere on the network on June 16, 2012.
Kiyoko's musical activities include being a member of the girl group The Stunners, formed by musician Colleen "Vitamin C" Fitzpatrick, and performing music at Los Angeles area clubs. The group was an opening act for Justin Bieber's My World Tour in the Summer of 2010.
